Education
I have experience working as a violin and music theory teacher, as well as 4 years of experience teaching English, writing, and helping students prepare for the SATs. I have obtained a Trinity Guildhall Level 3 certificate in graded examination in music performance, Grade 6 Violin with Distinction, and Grade 7 Violin with Merit. I have completed Grade 5 Music Theory through the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, which I passed with Merit in 2013. In addition to all of this, I have also worked as a journalist for Al-Jazeera English. My tutoring sessions are always student-centered, which means that my students always determine the pace at which they learn, as well as the topics and materials that we will focus on.
