I have instructional experience tutoring students in elementary school, middle school, high school, and college in mathematics, computer science, and physics. I logically explain the concepts so the students are able to independently solve the problems. I make the concepts easier to understand with various examples and styles of explanation. I prepare practical and, when appropriate, theoretical assignments for the students to use as practice. I specialize in helping students understand the real-world application of the topics which can help them become more engaged with the material we are studying. I also offer tutoring for students who are taking courses as part of the International Baccalaureate (IB) or Advanced Placement (AP) programs such as AP Computer Science and IB Mathematics SL. Working one-on-one with a tutor gives the student an opportunity to ask as many questions as they want and to receive the undivided attention of an expert in the field.
