I hold the CELTA (Certificate in English Teaching to Adults) from Cambridge ESOL Examinations. I also have a Master's of English Linguistics with focus on Learning and Teaching from the University Leeds, UK. I am interested in helping pre-university students prepare for the IELTS exam. I can also help foundation and post- foundation students with their English courses(including listening, speaking, reading and writing) that they might fave trouble with. As my highest qualification is MA Linguists, I can also help students at the English Language and Literature department with their linguistics courses (language and linguistics, syntax, phonology, etc).
Experience
Educated in England. A CELTA qualified ESL/EFL Teacher with a broad skill set and capabilities acquired during a successful career in the UK and the Middle East. I have eight years experience in teaching adult learners from diverse backgrounds. I have been teaching at higher education institutions in Qatar for 4 years. I'm familiar with the struggle that students go through before and after they go to university.
