Hello! My name is Steph, and I live in sunny California. I am a TESOL/TEFL certified English teacher with five year of experience teaching English and working with non-native English speakers. An avid language learner myself, I understand just how challenging it is to learn a foreign language. I graduated from Georgetown University with a bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language and, then, from Hamad bin Khalifa University with a master’s in Translation Studies. I lived, studied, and worked in the Middle East for eight years where I fell in love with the language, the culture, and the people. There, I gained experience teaching in language centers to large groups of students and one-on-one as a private tutor. مرحبا! انا الآنسة سْتَف من ولاية كاليفورنيا الجميلة. أنا مدربة مؤهلة ومعتمدة وامتلك من الخبرة خمس سنوات في تدريس اللغة الانجليزية للناطقين باللغة العربية سبق لي الدراسة والعيش والعمل في دول الخليج العربي لمدة 8 سنوات حيث بدأت خلالها رحلة شغفي في اللغة والثقافة والناس. خلال تلك الفترة عملت في مراكز تعليم اللغة الانجليزية لمجموعة واسعة من الطلاب في الصفوف وايضا عن طريق اعطاء الدروس الخصوصية للافراد
Experience
I recently moved back to my hometown in California; however, I am hoping to continue to teach students from the region and all over the world! Teaching English is my passion. I enjoy helping students reach their language learning goals. Whether you are a complete beginner or advanced, I have experience with all ranges of learners.
