I have over 18 years of experience as a private tutor, both in my student's homes and online. I can work with students in a variety of different mathematical areas, whether they need guidance in preparing for standardized exams and course finals or they want to build a deeper understanding of the concepts and skills covered in their course. I can break down challenging concepts into bite-size pieces that cater to my student's learning tendencies. I can go over test-taking strategies that can help them remain calm and focused as they work through difficult problems. We can dive into earlier concepts to fill in learning gaps or expand on the areas that my student finds most interesting. My students are encouraged to ask questions to prevent misunderstandings and build confidence in getting help when they need it.
Experience
I earned my Master in Mathematics from Jamia Millia Islamia in New Delhi, India. I have vast experience of teaching Online Maths for IIT JEE ( Advanced ), SAT, ACT, IB HL & SL, AS-A2, AP Calculus ( AB & BC), CBSE, ISC & GMAT. There is no magical path to master the subject except hard work and dedication. I expect my students to be extremely focused otherwise it would simply be a waste of time. My philosophy of teaching is to first establish the confidence to my students by basics and fundamentals so that they develope thinking ability even without teachers help. Nothing is more rewarding than a smile on my students face.
